No more snoring

Spencer had his tonsils and adenoids taken out yesterday.
This is just before they took him in to blow up the "balloon".

It took a while for the anesthesia to wear off but after that, he was really happy. REALLY. HAPPY. Today is another story, which they warned us about, but it's alright it will all be worth it in the end.

Ever since he was a little baby we have always been able to hear him breathe from another room. In the last little while it turned into snoring and during the day he was only able to breathe through his mouth, so his Doctor referred us to an ear nose and throat specialist who then advised that we have his tonsils and adenoids taken out. We can already tell that it's helped, he can actually breathe through his nose. However, now that I can't hear him breathe, I'll never be able to sleep! :)

Grandma Slack

We recently had to say goodbye to Dallas' mom. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved it when her family visited and loved to hear the grandchildren's laughter. We take comfort knowing that she is with her parents again and that she is able to do the things she wasn't able to do for the last few years. We love her and we're going to miss her very much!

New bed

This is Spencer's new bed, we made the mistake of asking him what color he wanted it, I hope he likes green for a while! I didn't expect it to be quite that bright.

By the way, Dallas made the bed and we got the plans from this fabulous site.
